Run an agent in recommend mode

You can trigger an agent run yourself. It only reads the platform — it cannot change anything without admin approval. Safe to run whenever you want fresh proposals.

When to run

  • A client hasn't had a run in 5+ days and you want to see what the agent sees.
  • A client just had a big budget change or new campaign launched and you want sanity check.
  • You're investigating something specific and want a fresh take.

How to run

  1. Open the client page (Overview → click client card).
  2. Find the "Run an agent" section.
  3. Click the Run Meta Ads Agent button.
  4. Wait 30-60 seconds.
  5. New proposals will appear in "Proposed actions" below.

What "recommend mode" means

The agent:

  • Reads live campaign data (last 30 days).
  • Compares against Clozer playbooks loaded into its memory.
  • Proposes 2-6 specific actions with reasoning and metrics.
  • Does not touch the ad account. Nothing changes until admin approves.

Every run is logged with cost (usually < $0.05), tokens used, and outcomes.

What if a run fails

You'll see an error message in the section. Common causes:

  • Expired Meta token — escalate to admin.
  • Ad account access removed — escalate to admin.
  • Anthropic rate limit — wait 5 min and retry.

If it fails twice, escalate.

What if proposals look stale

Hit Run again. The agent re-reads fresh data each run.

Don't run constantly

Each run costs us API tokens. Once per client per day is plenty unless there's a specific reason. The agents will be put on a daily cron soon so manual runs become rare.
